Volunteering your time to one of the many boards and commissions in the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County is one of the best ways of not only helping your government, but it is a way of insuring REALTORS® interests are represented. If you are interested in participating in a board or commission, call Phoenix REALTORS® at 602-246-1012. Phoenix REALTORS® can advocate for your appointment on your behalf. Board and commission members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council members or the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors depending on the entity overseeing the board or commission. 

Good government is not just the responsibility of elected officials and city/county employees; residents also play an important role. Members of the City and County Boards and Commissions examine a variety of issues. As a board, commission, or committee member, you are an important part of the city process. Please note that some boards require residency within the city of Phoenix or Maricopa County.
